Welcome to my homepage.
Hello. Nice to meet you.
My childhood
I was born and grew up in the countryside of Japan. I remember that I played in the woods, rivers, rice fields, and rode a bike everywhere every day. However, my childhood days became hard after my mother passed away from an illness when I was 7 years old. I started to work after graduating from high school.
My young adulthood
My first trip abroad was to Disneyland and Universal Studios in California when I was about 20 years old. That trip made me want to learn English, so I worked and saved money to live in Sydney, Australia in 2000 and 2001. While I was there, I went to language school and worked at a Japanese restaurant. I also went to see some Olympic events at the Sydney summer Olympics. After living in Sydney, I went backpacking around Australia and many southeast Asian countries. My young adulthood was a period of traveling. After I married my husband, we went backpacking around several European countries. Then we lived in California, Hawaii, and Oregon.
Present
I love living in Oregon. People are friendly and nice; trees and
flowers grow very well here. Everything I need is here, so I feel like
I do not need to travel to see new places anymore.
I also found what I want to do here. I enjoy taking graphic design classes,
taking care of my garden, and spending peaceful time with my family.
